So far, I've cheered the loudest for Mo'Nique, who won her first Globe for "Precious." Her speech was so touching, and she looked wonderful. Several years ago few would have believed this Queen of Comedy could turn such a powerful performance, but her turn as an abusive mother left few doubts about her versatility. If you haven't seen "Precious" yet, what are you waiting for?!
I was also really happy about "Glee" winning Best Musical/Comedy TV Series. The-Little-Show-That- Could turned out to be the most nominated show of the night. It's wonderful that a musical dramedy can amass critical acclaim AND big ratings! I guess times are a-changing.
